Chelsey can walk

This post is more than a month late coz Chelsey has been walking since she turned ONE.

Anyway, here is video of Chelsey taken earlier last month when she started to walk.

I'll post another one soon on her running!! Yup, she's running already. Fast eh!

Room on the Broom

Chloe's favourite book of the month!

Our tickets to "Room on the Broom"

Every night, we read a book to the girls before they go to bed. Its part of our bedtime ritual after the girls brush their teeth. For the last few weeks, it is always the same book, "Room on the Broom". Since I took her to catch the play at the DBS Arts Centre, she always wants to read this book and every other night we have this coversation:

Me: What book do you want to read tonight?
C1: Roooooom on the Brrrooooommm
Me: Again?
C1: Yes, the witch with the cat, dog, bird and dragon and monster!
Me: Ok (reluctantly)
I wonder how many more days or weeks this will last.

Chinese New Year

We had quite a tiring CNY this year with lots of visiting, plus the hot weather didn't help. The feasting of delicious food and catching up with family made up for it. Not forgetting the girls enjoyed collecting their ang baos from relatives! I'm very proud to say that Chloe can readily say 'Happy New Year, Gong Xi Fai Cai' when she receives an ang bao. Good job! =)

The other day, I overhead a conversation Grandma had with Chloe

Grandma: Do you know what is inside the ang bao? ?
Chloe: Money
Grandma: What is that for?
Chloe: To go shopping

Spoken like a true lady! haha
Hmm.. This gives me another task to instill in her the value of money.

Bird Park

Can you see the lousy fake dino ? Quite pathetic eh?!

We went to the Jurong Bird Park recently coz my company actually sold cheaper tickets to the Hollywood Dinosaurs exhibition. So naturally, I asked WP and M to come along since we go to gym class with the girls on Saturday mornings. Stupid exhibition of fake dinosaurs was a total FLOP and a super big waste of everyone's time and money! No wonder the organisers wanted to sell the tickets cheaper to corporations so that they can con the employees' money like mine! And the dino show tickets does not even include the entrance fee for the Bird Park! Arggh....felt so cheated.

On a happier note, we did go in to the bird park to see the beautiful parrots, pink flamingos, strange looking owls and the famous bird show, plus the girls enjoyed themselves!

Friends' birtday parties!

There were a couple of birthday parties recently.
Here are some pictures of the girls in action.
Happy Birthday Kaitlyn and Emma!!
