Chloe has been going to Auntie C's Montessori-style home school for the last few months. Since attending school there, she has been come more chatty and sociable. She even speaks in whole sentences now. She has also been singing quite bit nowadays, especially in Mandarin but I can't seem to understand it yet, except for Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars!

Chloe's last day at Zesty was more than a month ago but still remembers it. Everytime we drive past Pandan Valley, she will shout out " That's my school!"

Just another 'ordinary' morning

The every morning when I drive Chloe to school, I try to make it a point to have our little mother and daughter conversations.
Last week we had 2 muscially linked conversations.

Part 1
Driving past Botanical Gardens, along Holland Road

C1: Mummy, look! Monkey!
Me: Where?
C1: In the tree?
Me: What colour is it?
C1: Black
Me: What is its name?
C1: Bad romance
Me: What kind of name is that?
C1: Like Lady Gaga
Me: *&%$#??!! What else do you see? (attempting to keep the conversation going)
C1: Owl
Me: What's the colour?
C1: Brown
Me: What is its name?
C1: Wonder girls!
Me: *&%$#??!!


Part 2
Just driving out the car park and saying goodbye to Grandma, Grandpa and Chelsey at the car park.

C1: Where is Grandma?
Me: Gone to the market
C1: Where is Grandpa?
Me: Gone to the market
C1: Where is Meimei?
Me: Gone to the market, noboday is at home
C1: (breaking out in song) Nobody nobody but you! *clap*clap*
Me: *&%$#??!!

All I have to say is that Chloe has been influenced by Papa's choice of music and he is a very proud father! =)
