The Hair Cut

Last Thursday, Chloe and Chelsey had hair cut. Being child or baby it is always difficult to cut their hair. The hairdresser who cut it, did a lousy job! They are never ever going back there again! Next time, they will go to professional children's salon.

Now, my little angels don't look that feminine anymore. It will take a longer time to grow their hair long. Sigh.
Thankfully, hair can always grow back.

Chewy's flavour of the month

Sometimes when I need a 'baby sitter', I let Chelsey play with her favourite toy - the Fisherprice Piano. Once she see it, she gives the biggest and brightest smile. She enjoys the flashing lights and musical tunes, especially when the music changes the moment she kicks the colourful piano-like keys. Like all other babies, she will get bored of this toy soon. Hence, this is the current 'flavour' of the month.

Chloe's friend - Oscar

Whenever Chloe goes over to Ah Gong's and Ah-Ma's house, she loves to play with Oscar if he is around. Here is one of those fun moments of her trying put on her Crocs on him.

Chelsey can turn over!

Its amazing how babies develop so fast! Our little princess Chelsey can turn over on her own already. Actually it has been over 2 weeks since we first noticed it. Her neck muscles has strenghten tremendously over this month too.
Truely, remarkable milestone developments for one tiny baby.

Spinning 'tops'

We decided to stay home to watched F1 (Shanghai) on TV last Sunday afternoon as it was super- crazily hot! Moreover the gals were running a little fever coz of their jabs they had on Friday.
To us, the exciting parts to watch during F1 are at the start, the end or whenever a car crashes. Hence Papa got a chance to entertain Chloe by spinning her printing stamps as tops.
This really tickled her and it went on for more than half an hour. It is always nice to see that such simple things can make her so happy!

Chloe's opium

Whenever Chloe is sleepy, grouchy, grumpy or just irritated, she needs her opium - ie her pacifier or 'choot choot' and her 'flatophant'. These are 2 important and essential things we need to bring along if we take her out or bring her any where.
Of coz she has more than 1 pacifier and 'flatophant'. In fact, she has 6 pacifiers and 3 'flatophants'!! Must always have extra in case it gets dirty.

I hope that by the time she turns 2, I am to wean her off it or at least keep her opium for bedtime only. Am I too ambitious? Only time will tell.

Bumbo

We took out the green bumbo seat for Chelsey. She can sit snuggly in it already...! So fast!

Another trip to the zoo

Being Friends of the Zoo, we try to make a trip to the zoo at least once a month. As Chloe is a little older and more vocal, she is more attentive to the different animals.
During this visit, we managed to get up close to the cheetahs which Chloe claims are 'meow meow'! and deers as 'Dooooogg'.

Chelsey is 3 months!

Our darling Chewy Chelsey turns 3 months old today! She is getting more alert and smiles quite often like her sister.

Kindergarten

As I was not as proactive enoough to sign Chloe up for some of the more popular kindergartens when she was born, I wanted to make sure that I should at least try to sign her up for one before I return to work.

One morning, Megan's mummy and I brought the gals down to Maris Stella Kindergarten to sign them up. The school actually opens for registration (for their year) only next year. Since we were there already, the kind teacher and principal allowed us to register the gals. YAYY!!

Now, its official, Chloe and Megan will start their first kindergarten class in 2011!
