Wetwipes is a new toy

"This is tasty!"

" I like my new 'toy'! "

Now that Chelsey is more mobile, it is getting more difficult to change her diaper as she keeps wanting to roll over or crawl away. Thus, we pass her the packet of wet wipes to distract her. It works very well as she loves the sound and the texture of the foil...at the same time, we struggle to keep it out her mouth!

Gimme my milk!

C2's hands getting tired

Whenever Chelsey is very hungry, she will grab and hold her own bottle. She is also strong enough to hold it up for quite a while. But soon after, her tiny hands get tired and you can see the bottle dropping.

Back to school

Having gone away and sick, Chloe is all set and ready for school again this week. Becoz of the 2 week break, she had forgotten what it was like to go on her own. She yelled and cried when I drop her off.

According to her teacher, she only cried for a short while. Back to square one.

When Chelsey turned 5 months....

Sitting up on her own

Realised that I did not post a picture of Chelsey when she turned 5 months.
Here it is.

Chelsey can crawl

Getting ready to lunge

Concentrating: "I must not to slam my face on the mat"

Chelsey started crawling last week. Its more of a little lunge and a quick balancing act without getting her face to the ground.
Super adorable!

The Bad Cough

Since the 2 girls came down with a bad cough from Phuket, the doctor recommended that they both need to be given 3 doses of the nebuliser per day for 3 days.

Chelsey hated it and would cry consistantly for the 5min until we stop. For Chloe, she resisted strongly for the first few times but relented as we coaxed her that it is not painful and that she will be able to watch her favourite - Hi-5 after the dose of medication.

Our annual holiday - Phuket

Just before we board the plane
Shopping at the new Premium outlet mall....nothing great. Everything still so pricey!

Enjoying the pool

Sister-ly moment in the garden

Another family pic in the villa, missing Chelsey coz she was sleeping

We spent the whole week in Phuket with Grandpa, Grandma, The Peks and Uncle Danzel. The food was great, weather held up fine with super hot sun and of course, terrific company.
As usual and expected, we had loads of fun, except that Chloe and Chelsey came back with a cough.

The Little Big Club concert

At the entrance, before the concert

Chloe's favorite - BJ, Barney and Baby-bop
The Finale: Every Barney fans' favourite song
The weekend before we left for Phuket, I brought Chloe to watch the Little Big Club concert, together with some friends. She thoroughly enjoyed it very much. Personally, I was secretly looking forward to watching it as I have never been to such a concert before.
It turned out better than expected. Next up, is Hi-5 in September!

Devastation

We came back home last night from our annual Phuket holiday to find our home without any electricity. My other half quickly checked the fishes and I bolted to the milk fridge to find my storage of 40 over packets of breast milk (more than 7 litres to be exact) melted and spoilt. The gruesome sight of it made my heart sank to the ground. Sigh.Sulk. Also, my worst birthday present.

My plan is to breastfeed Chelsey exclusively for at least 8 months - the same time as Chloe. This is already getting a little tough as Chewy is drinking 180ml per feed and my supply is sometimes short of 720ml (the amount I need to leave behind every morning before I go to work). Hence I will need to dig into my reserves. Now, I am not able to.

Thankfully, I am on leave this whole week and I hope to start my storage again.

No more tears

After going to school for 3 weeks, 3 times a week...Chloe doesn't shed a tear anymore when we drop her off in school! She can even bid us goodbye.

Crossing of another milestone.

Adieu for now...Susan

Two Fridays ago, our helper Susan went back to home to Phillipines for 2 1/2 weeks. Initially, I was a little worried that I will not be able to manage the two girls. Thoughts of "what ifs" ran through my head while driving her to the airport.

Its been more than a week and I am managing fine! =)
